I offer a homely environment after a day in school I find children like to come home to a friendly, relaxed, safe environment. I give the children a choice of healthy food.
We do lots of arts and crafts activities, drawing, reading, board games. If they want they can choose to do homework (not very often!) or play on the playstation. We walk home from school when the weather permits we play ball games, chase, football, bubbles. Home is a place to feel welcome and to thrive and feel safe, an extension of their home, so the parents then feel happy.
