Free call blockers
Do you, or someone you know, struggle with unwanted or scam calls to your home phone? Staffordshire Trading Standards have a number of free call blocking devices available for vulnerable residents in Staffordshire. If you have been a victim of a scam or are receiving large numbers of unwanted calls, apply for a free call blocker device to stop up to 95% of unwanted calls.
How do I apply?
If you, or someone you know, is vulnerable please register online.
Please note: This service is open to anyone living within Staffordshire however the focus will be to those who are most vulnerable. Each application is assessed on an individual basis regards eligibility, a Staffordshire County Council Officer will contact you if your application is successful and to arrange a free installation. All Officers will have ID and provide contact details. All data is held under the data protection act and will not be shared.

Staffordshire Trading Standards is committed towards protecting residents from becoming victims of scams, through empowering communities and by stamping out scams and fraud. As part of this service, we are publishing a regular newsletter, hosting a number of public notices, warnings against current scams, but also offer relevant news, advice and opportunities for training and engagement.
