Badgers is a Before and After School Club managed and run by Humpty Dumpty Nursery and is open to all children attending St Joseph's School. The Club runs from the end of the school day up until 6.00pm. The Club is a development of the facility originally offered at St Michael's School, which shares the same outdoor areas and for the convenience of all concerned, parents may be offered alternative places at the St Michael's Club where we find ourselves unable to accommodate requirements at St Joseph's.

The idea is that children can have fun and relax before school and at the end of the school day doing all sorts of enjoyable, imaginative and stimulating activities such as sports, clay modelling, constructional play, cooking, fabric painting, painting and collage, board games and physical activities as well as seasonally themed play, there will also be opportunities for children to develop ICT skills. Outdoor activities will also be frequently be on offer, weather permitting. All of this takes place in a safe and secure environment under the professional supervision of experienced and caring staff specially trained in play leadership.

During the main school holidays we also run playschemes in Lichfield and Barton Under Needwood. These are a great hit with all children and again there is a wide range of activities on offer.
