I work on the basis of offering a home from home feeling with my childminding. I like the children to be as happy and secure at my house as they would be at home. We go out and play everyday, go to local parks, have fun time in the day, We also dance and sing nursery rhymes and we do other learning activities according to the childs age and stage of development. Other activites we do include painting, colouring,craft days and play in the garden which is secure, I have a slide in the garden and a water/sand table which is great fun. I promote healthy eating with play and learn throughout the day. I have two rooms for playing in and a quiet room for napping during the day, with a provision for a junior bed and a cot. I have experience with children ranging from newborn right up to the ages of 8 years of age.
