Open Door Work Placements - Staffordshire County Council
We offer 12 week work experience placements to support job seekers to gain valuable, up-to-date work experience to increase their employability.
If you require support whilst in the workplace you should discuss using access to work with your JobCentre+ work coach.
Who can use the service?
Staffordshire residents aged 18+ who are actively job seeking.
Are there any costs?
You will need to cover your own travel or childcare costs.

What happens after referral?
A member of the team will get in touch and ask you to complete an application form. They may talk to you further about the type of work experience you are seeking.
Who will we see?
An employability co-ordinator.
What happens when I come to the service?
A member of the team will meet with you. When a placement is found they will accompany you to meet the employer and agree your hours of work whilst on placement.
What happens when I become an adult?
This service is open to adults aged 18 years and over.
