New Horizons Support Ltd.
We are a brand new, expert day support facility, very close to completing construction of our new facilities, so that as soon as have government guidance on safe social distancing measures in our sector, we will be providing high-quality day support services, catering for adults (18 years plus) with a range of needs, including those on the autistic spectrum.
We aim to provide those important next steps for adults leaving or who have left school or college, who are looking for structured and meaningful activities that are fully centred around them as individuals. For example, as part of our day-support service we provide internally-certified courses for our service users, and are aiming to also provide WEA-accredited courses too.
New Horizons Support Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kendo Nagasaki Foundation, a Registered Charity (number 1161005), which is based at Moor Court in the idyllic Staffordshire Moorlands. Surrounded by nature, our site is beautiful, peaceful, and secluded, and is a lovely place to be. ‘Horizons’ operates throughout Staffordshire.
In addition to taking advantage of our day-support facilities, where appropriate service users can also go out into the community. We make good use of a wide range of local community resources, which includes access to Alton Towers, local pubs & restaurants, rural walks, access to nature, and more.
On-site, we have a communal area for arts and crafts, computers and movie-watching facilities, a dedicated pottery area, a large greenhouse and planting-out area, a large 'life-skills' kitchen, exercise and gym facilities, a 'sensory room', out-doors 'bush-craft' experiences, equine therapy, our extensive beautiful grounds, and more, expanding all the time. Please contact us - we'd love to show you around!
