Eagle's Nest Project Alternative Provision (Secondary education 11-18 years)

Alternative Provision Dynamic Purchasing System
Eagle's Nest logo

We provide support to students struggling to effectively engage with mainstream education, often as a result of early childhood trauma.

Support packages are bespoke and can range from 1-16 hours a week and form part of their educational provision.

We work in partnership with other agencies involved in the life of the child, for example:

  • Children's Services

  • Youth Offending

  • Virtual School for Looked after Children

  • CAMHS

We are on Staffordshire County Council's list of alternative education providers for part time alternative provision, tutoring and complementary provision.

Other notes

We work with young people on the margins of society. We have a policy of never 'kicking them out' and work creatively to pursue ways to engage young people who have become difficult to manage. We focus on young people who are permanently excluded, or at serious risk of this. We believe everyone has potential and want to support those we work with to rediscover theirs.
