Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education
Our vision is to see Deaf people valued by themselves and their society, being confident, well educated, independent, able to communicate and with good and appropriate employment and housing.
Exeter Deaf Academy is committed to supporting the wider Deaf community as well as to the families and friends of our students. In addition, one of our core aims is to enable our students to achieve independence when they leave the Academy.
We have developed a range of services including BSL Counsellors, a Family Support Service and Communication Support Workers to support both the Deaf community and the wider community. Here you will find information about the services Exeter Deaf Academy’s specialist staff can offer, how to access them, and also links to other organisations who can provide support.
