Burntwood Be A Friend
A community centred charity with four main aims:
- Alleiviate economic deprivation and food poverty (through our Community food Store and signposting hub)
- Reduce isolation and loneliness by promoting positive mental health and wellbeing (through our activities such as men's and women's wellbeing walks and our community garden activities)
- Forge links with local organisations to help the community
- Create a thriving volunteering cohort in Burntwood
We also partner with Burton & District Mind on the Future Focus Project and have a full time Recovery Worker for mental health referrals from NHS.
