Shoebox Theatre Play Readings: online / in person

Do something different. Join one of our Play Reading groups. If you would prefer to listen rather than read can do that.

Second Tuesday of the month at The Hub in the Castle Grounds.

We meet at The Hub in the Castle Grounds at from 12.30 onward; buy lunch in the Community Cafe, have a chat while we eat, buy tickets and draw the raffle, then begin reading the play for the day at 1.30, finishing no later than 4.30. If you only want to come for the play-reading, you can join us for 1.30. A minimum donation of £2 is requested.
Fourth Tuesday in the month we meet online with Zoom. You will need to be on the internet, with a laptop, tablet or smart phone and have a Wifi connection. You will need to provide us with an email address where we can deliver the script for the day, and a link reminder. We arrive in the online waiting room for 2 pm from where we are admitted to join the group. We read until the end of the play, but if it is running over 4.30 we will decide whether to stop - or continue until the play is finished.

Details: If you have lunch at The Hub, you pay the Community Cafe for your food. The prices are very reasonable. The small (voluntary) raffle is £1 ticket. We request a donation of at least £2 for Shoebox Theatre to help with overheads.
