Community Prospects is an established CIC formed in February 2015.

Community Prospects was created to assist Young Adults 16-24 & Adults 25+ who Learn Differently, Learning Difficulties/Disabilities, Mental Health, Brain Injury etc who will are looking to progress towards Skills for Work or Volunteering through vocational opportunities via area's such as: Woodcraft & Design, Horticulture, Craft & Design whereby individuals will be part of enterprises that will develop items for purchase by the public thus enhancing their individual skills obtained from the courses, and enhancing and developing new ones on their pathway to work or Volunteering.


Community Prospects CIC is also in place to assist anyone who would like to join us in meaningful opportunities/activities via Volunteering to increase or maintain their skills, and to be economically active, and being assisted on their pathway to be more work or Volunteer ready and obtain jobs or placements internally & externally to assist their journey.


Community Prospects CIC will not only assist the individual who 'Learns Differently' but also support families who may otherwise have their son or daughter at home, return to work.


All products made within the CIC will be available to the public to purchase, thus assisting the CIC to be self - funding as much as possible and teaching many skills to the individual about work and volunteering and Personal Social Development within the community for the community, also making a positive impact on the criminal justice system providing volunteering opportunities to enable unemployed people to gain work experience and jobs enriching their learning and providing opportunities for everyone to enjoy.


Community Prospects will create enterprise and work opportunities in order to increase skills and work readiness. The enterprise will operate in such a way as to generate some income from the activities to pay for the costs of staff, premises and materials. Any surplus will be retained in the CIC in order to support its expansion.

Community Prospects CIC would welcome applications from anyone looking to enhance their skills and learn new ones by Volunteering to work with people who 'Learning Differently' and are Vulnerable. Full training is available, supported on the job learning, and direct access to Job Vacancies within the Health & Social Care field.
