Academy 21

Academy 21

We have developed our provision to respond directly to the needs of local authorities, schools and the young people we support. Academy21 is an online provision which delivers the knowledge, skills and understanding young people need to progress and achieve.  It is delivered in a safe, friendly, supportive and engaging online learning environment. We provide a balance of academic challenge and educational engagement through quality teaching and learning of our flexible study programmes.

We provide tailored timetables for each student through a combination of live teaching in online classes of up to 15 students.  This is in addition to homework activities, library and study materials and additional tutorial support where it is needed.

Students learn from any suitable location with a broadband connection and computer and this can and does include from home, study centre, school or Pupil Referral Unit – dependent on each learner’s individual needs.
