Reflective School Support Limited
We are a well established, Staffordshire based, 1:1 tuition service. We currently have a team of more than 30 very experienced and well qualified tutors drawn from the primary, secondary and SEN fields. We support children who are unable to attend school due to illness, exclusion or are in need or tuition while they wait for a specialist educational setting related to their SEND. All our staff specialise in working with learners who have complex additional needs including ASD and we are currently working with learners who are aged 4-19.We have 2 experienced SENCOs who can support with the EHCP process or exam access arrangements.
While much of our work is commissioned by Staffordshire and Derbyshire Local Authorities, we also work directly with many schools, three Staffordshire PRU's and several children's homes and Virtual Schools from across the U.K. Examples of some of our current work involve
- working with learners who were in danger of being permanently excluded
- providing short -term tuition for learners until they take up a place in a specialist setting
- providing additional 1-to1 support where teachers are struggling to manage complex additional needs/challenging behaviour in the classroom
- providing high quality teaching up to GCSE and 'A' level for students who are unable to attend school due to illness
- delivering 1: focused tuition for young people to support them to improve progress in a particular subject; this could be for Children in Care on students struggling to catch up and keep up with their peers since COVID.
Our tuition packages are entirely bespoke and shaped around the need of the learner and the commissioner, and are flexible in terms of hours, duration and location. Our current packages range from long term 15 hours a week to single weekly tutorials so we can organise tuition support packages whatever your learners circumstances and budget.
We are justifiably very proud of our outcomes and the achievements of our students which has seen many students who have faced very considerable additional challenges successfully re-integrate successfully back into school and/or fulfil their exam potential up to GCSE grade 9 in some cases.
A core curriculum of English, Maths and Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education will be provided with additional subjects by agreement. Qualifications can include 'A' Levels and G.C.S.E.so in a range of curriculum subjects, Functional Skills English and Maths and employability skills.
We are passionate about providing children and young people who need 1-to-1 support with a first class education that will help them fulfil their potential.
