Due to the COVID-19 virus, parents looking for childcare should be aware of the following information:

  • Childcare settings should now only supply childcare to parents who are classed are critical workers and vulnerable children as defined by government guidelines
  • If it is at all possible for children to stay safely at home, they must, to limit the chance of the virus spreading
  • If a child needs specialist support, is vulnerable or has a parent who is a critical worker, then educational provision will be available for them.

If you are a critical worker and need urgent childcare please contact our team at: eeac@staffordshire.gov.uk

Additional points to note:
