Drop in sessions to help shape future Autism services – for people with Lived Experience of Autism

Autism Engagement Event Flyer

People with experience of Autism are getting the chance to help shape how they are supported in the future.

Staffordshire County Council, along with local Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are holding two drop-in events during October 2019.  They are keen to hear how services currently work for people with Autism and their carers, and how they could run in the future.

Feedback from the sessions will help all agencies involved with Autism shape and develop the support they offer.

The events are:

  • 17th October 2019 at Newcastle Day Service, Wilmot Drive, Newcastle. ST5 9AZ from 9.30am to 2.30pm
  • 24th October 2019 at the Northfields Centre, Magnolia Avenue, Stafford. ST16 3BZ from 9.30am to 2.30pm

For those who can’t attend a drop-in session or wish to further contribute, they can fill in an online survey at: https://consultation.staffordshire.gov.uk/transformation-support-unit/autism-implementation-plan-2020-2023
